The mast does not conduct any voltage that only the lines do. But even drops that stripped the lines or drip them down, carry only a minimum amount of charge. Dangerous would only be an uninterrupted water jet, but if it rains so hard, you’ll be swept away anyway.

Supplement to this: the masts are also grounded. Since water (without salts) is even a comparatively good insulator, there is no danger.

They can be, so they’re just loaded.

However, the so little load that you just don’t notice.

That’s why I wrote “poisoned”, cargo can take them up, and right now in autumn you can hear them sneaking and singing.
