Stratocaster circuit with 2 external switches?
Hello,
I was given a Stratocaster circuit as a gift.
I've never seen anything like this before and wanted to ask if someone could explain to me what the two other switches are for (the small ones).
I would also be interested to know where I have to solder the cables for the socket (output) and where you solder the ground for the tremolo.
The normal switch has 5 positions and then there are 2 additional switches that can be switched
Thank you very much for the help.
Regards, Billy
So for soldering, I’d already watch a YouTube video!
To the Extra Toggles: it is likely that the SingleCoils will be switched here both sebly and parallel. This means that two single boilers can be converted into a humbucker. For the bolder sound for harder music and Solis. What exactly do you need to test
A humbucker effect would only result if one of the two single coils had wound opposite to the other single coil and the magnets were polarized oppositely. Otherwise, the phase is not rotated by 180° and there is no corresponding quenching. While parallel/serial also makes a sound difference when no RWRP tone pickup is used.
