Penalty for riding an e-scooter under 14?

Hi, I'm planning on buying an e-scooter (Xiaomi Mi 1s) to get to school. I'm 13 and will be 14 at the end of April. I know you're not allowed to ride an e-scooter until you're 14, but I look 15 because I'm 1.82 m tall and everyone thinks I'm much older. So my question is, do the police have anything better to do than stop an almost 14-year-old on a legal e-scooter? Apart from that, 9-year-olds ride around on e-scooters here. So is the probability of me getting stopped? I live in a small town and see maybe 1-3 police cars a week.

Thanks in advance for the answers 😃😃

Hello,

it would be a Infringementwith a corresponding Depreciation allowance could be punished.

There is, however, always a latent risk of the pleasure of general traffic control, even in case of inconspicuous driving.

Buy an expensive e-bike, can drive 7+ years.

They’re not age-limited.

Engine helps up to 25kmh.

Future wheels are available from 3000€

A problem, a big one, you get when an accident happens.

Sorry. But if an e-bike drives faster than 20 km/h (in case 25), it is considered a so-called pedelec and then usually needs an insurance license. E-Bike insurance code ☀️ DAS you should know! (e-bike-versicherung.org)

If children under the age of 14 can participate in public transport with an e-scooter, punishments can come against the owners of the scooters. Often these are the parents. The fine catalogue provides for penalties in the form of an ad and a fine of 90 to 135 euros.

If you normally drive this should not be a problem to let your scooters insure properly.

You have to take insurance. There will be problems. Because you’re criminal, you’re just gonna have to wash the police cars.
