Storage space full?

I have 25,000 screenshots and a total of 45,000 images (including videos)

I keep having memory problems and now I don't know what to do…

I have trouble judging which pictures are important enough to keep…

To do that, I would have to go through each of the 45,000 images individually, and that would take ages…

Does anyone have a solution?

I have a 256GB iPhone. I don't want a subscription.

Since the thing with the memory becomes complicated in larger quantities, the subscription models are also very successful. But you don’t want one, and that’s possible. There are these possibilities:

Cloud without subscription:
Most cloud services regularly cost money, but that’s different. pCloud was recommended to me and I found that good when testing as a whole. Here there is storage for one-time payment. Prices are reasonable, but at the same time it is a lot of money.

Save on PC:
Since I use the iCloud, I don’t know how the media can be copied from iPhone to PC. But I found these links:

For Windows:
https://support.microsoft.com/de-de/windows/import-of-fotos-and-videos-of-aem-iphone-on-the-pc-2e4db4c3d-041c-b88f-3ee4358dd95e

For MacOS:

Use a NAS:
Depending on the importance of the data, better backup is useful. Evtl. make backups of your PC anyway, then it would not be necessary.
A NAS is a memory that consists of multiple hard drives and is at home. It is connected either to the network (WLAN/ LAN) or to a computer. Since it is several hard drives, the data can be secured twice (depending on configuration). As a result, a hard drive can break and still the data will be preserved because they are still present on the other.

  • Load all to an external hard drive and delete on the iPhone
  • Take the time to sort out (videos usually need more storage space- can start with it)
  • buy new IPhone with more GB
  • Set up cloud (usually with subscription)

play over to external SSD and then delete the memory content, but re-format fingers, the mistake has made my youngster, everything incl. BIOS away

Save the screenshots and images from a computer to external disks. Then it works again with the storage space.

Buy external HDD and play all pictures on it. They can then deceive or you’ll look at them sometime.

Connect hard drive and cell phone to your computer and then simply drag the files over
