Hello! I have a problem: Some on GuteFrage say that in this sentence, there's no comma before "wie." But my teacher says we have to put one. Many fruits, such as apples and pears, taste very good. Isn't that an insertion/more specific definition?
Both are right and say different things.
In the first sentence, there’s someone who keeps the car active. This can be the driver, or a police officer who calls the driver to stop.
The second is the process where the car stops or just stops.
Can both be correct, depending on the context.
These are different things.
The car stops the process actively from the outside. Example: The police stopped the car.
“The car stops” is a process description.
From the inside of the vehicle, the car is brought to stand.
