Stepfather is listed as a tenant on the lease. Problems with BAföG?

Hello,

I've finally found an apartment for my studies. The rental agreement arrived a little while ago, but I've encountered a problem: My stepfather is also listed as a tenant on the lease. This was supposed to be just a guarantee, and now I'm worried that it might cause problems with my student loans (BAföG). A few lines below it says that the apartment will be occupied solely by me, but is that enough? Could this still cause problems?

Dein Stiefvater interessiert nicht für die BAföG Berechnung, da er dir nicht unterhaltspflichtig ist. Du könntest theoretisch sogar wirklich eine WG mit ihm aufmachen. Du darfst nur nicht mit deinen leiblichen Eltern zusammenleben bzw diese nicht im Mietvertrag mit drin haben.

Das sollte dem Bafögamt genügen – denn derlei Mietverträge fordern viele Vermieter zu ihrer eigenen Absicherung, da dadurch der mit eingetragene Elternteil gesamtschuldnerisch haftet.
