Deputy branch manager?
Hi everyone, I was found by a furniture store on Indeed. They offered me a part-time (30-hour) position as an assistant store manager.
I've been working in retail for about two years now, but as a temporary worker in a grocery store. I applied for the job so that I could earn some extra money, as I was still studying at the time. I dropped out of college but stayed at the grocery store until I found something new. Now my question is, is there such a thing as a part-time assistant store manager? It seemed a bit strange to me. I only have my vocational high school diploma and no other qualifications. I also noticed it on my Indeed profile. Would you apply if you were in my position? I don't have a professional qualification, but it says that the position of assistant store manager would suit me. Isn't that strange?
What do you think? Thanks in advance.
Yes, there is a deputy branch manager and this is also possible in parttime. Where you’re supposed to have a suitability, I can’t explain.
Probably because of a subject, but normal, career experience is still assumed in management positions.
