Sharp knee pain?

Hey, I've had knee pain for a year now (I've had x-rays, stopped exercising, etc.). Some days I don't feel anything, and other days it's really bad. I always have it in my left knee, and sometimes in both, and now all of a sudden I get stabbing pain during the day if I don't do anything. Does anyone know what could be causing this? X-rays, etc., haven't found anything, and it's not swollen either.

It’s complicated. So, actually, I’d make a mistake. If there’s nothing out there, you shouldn’t let the head hang. It’s just a snapshot.

alternatively visit a rheumatologist

it can be like rheumatism, it can also be ne mucosa inflammation if possible never let it be removed. But it can also be purely muscular, that your legs are completely cramped and that then presses on your knee.
