Starlink setup?

Hey everyone;

I was wondering what role red zones and their area play in the Starlink setup. I'm still waiting for Starlink and have just started looking into the app.

I had a lot of blue with about 20% "house wall" or red. And in another measurement about 60% red and the rest was blue.

Does it matter for speed or just for network stability? Or for what?

Blue is good (Sterling can "see" satellites), red is bad = no contact with satellites.

If you have a lot of red, you may experience connection drops if the antenna can't establish contact with satellites because they're blocked by the house or other objects. I had to experiment a bit until I had a mostly clear view of the sky.

60% red isn't good. You often have no connection.
