Severe Mittelschmerz?
Hello, my dears,
I, 15 years old, have had my period since I was 12. Due to my anorexia, it wasn't always regular, but it's settled down so that it comes on time every month. For several months now (I'd guess since mid-April?) I've been suffering from unbearable Mittelschmerz during ovulation. Stabbing pains in my lower abdomen, no appetite, dizziness, and the worst part is the nausea. As soon as I get up, everything spins and I feel hot and nauseous. I've been to the hospital several times, to the family doctor, and then, of course, to the gynecologist. She immediately prescribed me the pill at the end of last month. I was actually very hopeful, since the pill (as far as I know) prevents ovulation, but somehow this Mittelschmerz started again today at exactly the same time as it has for the past few months. The pain and symptoms are the same as every month.
I'm desperate. Does anyone have any idea which doctor I could see next? Any household tips to make this a little more bearable? Or even some experience?
I would be incredibly grateful for any answer.
A mediumache does not have ovulation. With your symptoms, I would let the vitals check and reduce stress. Just after your history, your adrenal glands will probably be exhausted and your micronutrients (magnesium, manganese, zinc, iron, vitamin B,C&D, selenium, copper, etc.) probably not all well
And let your gyn examine you from your gyn, you’ve got a bit of a cyst or something else. That they always write the pill and don’t even look at it
The pill does not immediately look perfect (in terms of pain). The hormones have to re-pencile. Take them 3-4 months, then it should be better. If not – again to the female doctor. Did he examine you?
Thank you very much for your answer! I will definitely continue taking the pill. And to your question, no, my gynecologist hasn’t examined me.
So then I’d make an appointment again and, in any case, let me check if everything’s okay. In general, one should go to control twice a year.
