(Stark) bemerkbarer Unterschied zwischen -Spitfire Studio Strings und Professional-?
Die in der Musikindustrie bekannt Firma “Spitfire Audio” hat momentan einen Summer Sale am laufen. Während diesem Zeitraum sind viele VST Libraries für einen reduzierten und erschwinglicheren Preis erwerbbar. Als Musiker und angehender Hobbykomponist wäre ich sehr an der Streichinstrumenten Library “Spitfire Studio Strings” interessiert, da dies eine sehr leistungsfähige Bibliothek mit einem wunderschönen Klang ist.
Ich wäre auch bereit die professionelle Version für momentan 300€ zu kaufen, bin mir aber nicht sicher, ob es sich die zusätzlichen Mikrophon Positionen, die größere Band-Sektion und die Divisen-Sektion, die mit der professionellen Edition verfügbar sind, lohnen.
Gibt es einen bemerkbaren Unterschied beim Benutzen der Library oder beim Hören zwischen der “normalen” und der professionellen Version?

Do you want to compose classical music or paint film music or pop ballads with strings?
What DAW do you use?
How much RAM does your computer have.

As far as the genre is concerned, I cannot give an exact answer. Think about everything you’ve listed + in other areas.
As a DAW I currently use FL Studio (Producer), but before switching to Studio ONE.
My computer has 16GB of RAM.
If it might be important: My CPU is an i5 12600k.

But there will be your RAM of the bottleneck, big libraries like this (68 GB) eating a lot of RAM.
As an alternative or supplement to Areia Lite, the Spitfire Original Strings would still be an idea.
These are ensemble patches, so you have no single instruments here.
But only 29€.
Cinematic Studio Strings would also be a very hot tip next to Areia, but there is currently no discount.
But I’ll look again and maybe add my tip.
