Standard letter-private scales fluctuate between 20 and 21 grams. Should I still ship?
Hello, I would like to send a standard letter for 0.85€.
I then placed the letter on my office scale to check the weight, and the first time, it showed 20 g. When I placed the letter on the scale a second time, it showed 21 g, and the third time, it showed 20 g again.
Do you think the letter will still be delivered? My scale seems to be unable to "decide." Could this be due to inaccuracy, and the letter will pass through the weight check at the mail center without any problems?
The letter contains three A4 pages, and according to the Deutsche Post website, a €0.85 stamp is sufficient for that. Thanks for your replies and best regards 🙂
Sure. Pass.
If the 3 DIN A 4 pages are not a 260g paper, everything is good:)
Your scale doesn’t matter. The mailman himself has one and puts the letter on it. Showing this 20g is all good. 21 is required to refresh.
