SSD von Kingston 500gb auf samsung 1 TB gewechselt aber noch alte anzeige?

Ich habe meine SSD in meinem PC gewechselt und habe die daten auf die neue SSD geklont. Nach dem einbau funktioniert alles top nur er zeigt mir noch die alte SSD an in meine Explorer. Mache ich was falsch? Danke im vorraus

You should have knocked over the partitions. First speak the EFI, then the recovery partition and then your C: partition. As long as your C partition is not right next to the unassociated memory, you cannot expand it.
Another solution approach would be to create a further partition from the non-associated memory and to assign it to the drive letter D: . This allows you to place the second partition as a “data grave” with your own folder.

Look at the device manager whether there is a certain part (about half) of “unallocated memory”.

This may have happened when cloning because the previous SSD was smaller.

Then you should try to expand the partition or create a 2., but then you would have 2 single partitions.

You need to expand the disk because the partitions 1zu1 were cloned. This goes via the Disk Management program (right click on Start Menu). Evtl. is still a recovery partition at the end. this would have to be deleted.

The recovery partition would have to be deleted as it sits in between. You just have to be aware that you don’t have them anymore. Otherwise just create a new volume.
