SSD ONLY for Windows?

Hello, I want to reinstall my PC and ideally set it up so that one SSD only has Windows, while my other SSD has things like photos, videos, downloads, etc. So, everything should be on the second SSD, and only Windows on the first.
Is this possible? If so, how?

By simply building 2 SSDs. On the first you install only Windows and on the second you do your folder structure for everything else.

You then have to change the default folders in some programs and select them on the second SSD, such as the location of downloads from your browser.

I’m very similar.

For a NEW installation, the installation can specify where Windows is to be insulated.

For example, I installed a SSD and a “hybrid” hard drive in my PC (Tower).

The SSD is my C: drive on which I only installed Windows and its programs.

The second plate is divided into D: and E:

On D:\Data, I filed all files and documents in D:\Data\Photos all that has to do with it.

Configuring Windows accordingly, so it recovers the data from it and also stores it there.

If I have to reinstall WINDOWS, I don’t lose any data because they are on a completely different hard drive.

But why?
So that’s just wasted storage.
From “how to”
Simply save the data on the 2nd hard drive..?

But why?

Gives many useful applications.

I have all my games on a 4TB SSD that currently has 1.8TB of data. If I had the one on the C: and I wanted to reinstall the computer clean, I would have to reload the whole crap. So I tell Steam that is on G: a game directory and boom, all games are back. The same applies to my multimedia content on the D: Platte.

I also have a SATA SSD with 250GB on the one Win10 installation and all my tools/programs I need. When reinstalling, I set the primary boot device in the bios and I can reset the computer.

Honestly, I don’t think of a sensual commitment. Asking if you need about 2TB of games and whether it’s bad if you want to. half a day which can give up. Depending on the internet line also completely obsolete.
The other story – how often do you really need(!) a new Windows instance?
From my now almost 10 year old work experience I can say -> virtually never
Unless you are a typical candidate for Bloatware, which you cannot uninstall/will. If the data is important in any way, it is stored elsewhere, otherwise the data is not important.

This is quite nice that I can put up virtually instant Windows, but at today’s speeds, half an hour does not hurt. Unless you reinstall notorious Windows.
Grade for the Otto normal user who probably never restarts his system because he doesn’t even know how to do that.
And if you don’t just live on the village, you have 200/500 or even a gbit line, at least you invite the games down in no time.
Especially if you get so also a drive slot complete “kills”
For example, if you have only 2 m.2 ssd slots and have a small ssd directly for the system, you will only have a slot for data. Then, depending on the used memory size, it is unnecessarily expensive.
Because 2x2TB m.2 (as an example) are significantly cheaper than a 4tb m.2.
