SSD not showing up?

Hello, I have a 256GB Samsung PM9A1 SSD installed in my PC. However, the SSD isn't showing up as storage in my files. However, if you look under Drives in the Control Panel, it's shown there and is listed as "no errors." Can someone tell me why I can't find the SSD under "My Computer" so I can install my operating system on it, for example?

Hi, operating system Win10/Win11?

If yes, please enter your Windows Search/Start Bar once “Fix” and click on the first result “Create and format hard disk partitions”.

Make the window bigger so you can see everything. Then you will find out the new, correct (!) hard drive (see that it is empty and does not have a drive letter like C: for example) and start a new volume with a right-click on it. Quick formatting, assign names, assign letter – finished.
