SSD M.2 is not recognized?

Hello, I hope one of you specialists can help me, I'm desperate!

I just got a new SSD (2TB). Picture below.

I cloned everything from the old SSD (128GB) to an HDD.

I now boot the PC with the HDD and the new SSD card plugged into the mainboard to clone the contents of the HDD to the new SSD.

But now the new SSD isn't showing up anywhere, why?

Hi, to join the SSD u d from the busy boats

In Winows in Partition Manager, format the new hard drive on NTFS and then assign a drive letter.

Old plate on the new clons, drive down computer, clamp old SSD and boot from the new ones. Should work.

Daa listens to the settings in the program when cloning, as there are already many questions.

In the Clone Brogram “maintain original size” or disable similar

Doesn’t it appear in the disk management itself? How are you trying to clone the data?

No, I mean the data carrier administration. In the Explorer, you only see a disk as soon as it is formatted. Probably this is the reason that the SSD is not detectable.

This is normal, the net memory is always lower than the gross memory. This is about one of the formatting, and on the other hand the conversion from bit to byte. Everything’s right with you, that’s all that matters.

NTFS is the right format for Windows. However, I am surprised that you do not get the SSD displayed in your clone program anyway. She should show up there when she’s unformatted.

Is the M.2 SSD formatted correctly?

Without formatting, for example in exFat or Fat32 Word, nothing!

Okay, then you should format it. Most are densely formatted and do not yet have any sponsorships!

If it’s 190GB less, it’s a lot. But I only know about 1TB SSDs.

I didn’t say it had to be done either.

That’s normal. The formatting also needs space. The amount of storage can also and does it usually deviate.

I have seen that the 16GB stick has 16.1GB. In most cases it is only approx. 14GB/14,5GB

for an internal disk in a Windows system there is no reason to go to exFAT.

For Windows I would take NTFS. It’s also exFAT.

Try it. Should go.

Okay. You have to assign them now. It seems “offline”.

1. Make a legal cliché and give “Online”.

Two. Create Right-click and tap on Patition. Stands that do not choose to format the item.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

Win+S (= Search window)> search for “Computer management”> select the “Data carrier management” item on the top left in the menu

Also not in the database management?
