SSD broken?

I noticed that my SSD is writing slowly and I did a benchmark on it and in the picture you can clearly see that it writes much slower and I wanted to ask if it is defective or could there be other reasons. Kingston SNV2S1000G is my SSD.

ps I noticed it after a windows update

Did you previously turn on the Windows-own write cache for this disk and the update turned it off?

That SSDs are much slower when writing than when reading happens more often, whether this should be the case with your model I don’t know. Frequently, the first few GByte are written quickly thanks to board-internal cache, then it gets slow.

You could get a tool to read out the SMART data, e.g. CrystalDiskInfo. And turn off all virus and other scanners.
