SSD installed?

I installed the crucial p3 plus 1tb today, everything worked great, only now I noticed that there was a screw there but I couldn't install it anywhere, did I install the ssd wrong or is it left over anyway and can only be used on some other mainboards, I have the Msi b760 Tomahawk ddr4 wifi

The screw is used to attach the SSD to the spacer against the slot

If you have replaced an existing M.2 the screw remains, you would use the already existing screw

Otherwise, the SSD will work without a screw, but is not securely fixed in the slot and can be released

I've got such a cover with a cabbage on it and there was already a screw with a fix so I did everything right

Without seeing it, you can't confirm it over the Internet. Sounds at least after

…. in the Tomahawk boards, the screw for the SSD (M.2) is usually already included, which is included for those who do not have.
