Spule nimmt den Oberfaden nicht auf (Nähmaschine)?
Hallo Freunde,
Such an old sewing machine should actually be for inspection before you can use it again.
It should be cleaned, oiled and reset. In addition, the gripper appears to be defective.
It’s nothing that can be solved by remote diagnosis. In your place, I would buy a reasonable sewing machine (e.g. the starter models of W6) and solve myself from the idea that I can still get the old sewing machine running.
Even if it’s hard to separate from it, I must do that. Thank you for your answer.
it looks as if the gripper tip had broken off (Fig. 2) – the sewing machine must be repaired.
Oh, damn it! I have already contacted an expert (especially the operation that gave this machine a seal) who, in turn, said that there were no spare parts for this machine because it has been around. 60 years is no longer produced… 🤦🏽 ♀️
What do you want? With a 60-year-old coffee machine that doesn’t work or toaster or TV you can’t start anything anymore. A sewing machine is nothing else. If it does not work and cannot be repaired – then on the scrap.
Neither lower thread nor upper thread is tensioned, which should run freely.
Thank you for your answer, I’m just a little confused.. Would you agree if I send you the instructions? There it is called to put upper thread tension and the threads obliquely to the rear. :/
After threading, place the thread rearwardly, but do not tension, just put the lower thread rearwardly. Then put fabric on it, put foot down and gas.
Thank you very much, I will try it again.
