Spontane Hochzeit in Las Vegas, dann Greencard erhalten?

Geht das?

Ich mache Urlaub in Las Vegas und heirate spontan den Erstbesten Amerikaner, um eine Greencard zu erhalten.

That can work, but it doesn’t have to.
It’ll depend on what the officer thinks of the whole action.

In principle, it is possible according to US law. However, there are before or after marriage div. Rules that need to be complied with. For example 30/60 rule, etc.

Whoever marries in Las Vegas is officially married. However, you have to acknowledge marriage in Germany. At home, marriage becomes legal by presenting a certified copy of the US wedding certificate and an apostille. An apostille confirms that the marriage certificate is real.

FBI and Homeland Security will watch you step by step.

… as easy as you imagine, it won’t.

You would notice if you had to interview the Greencard procesis. For you are also asked where you know each other, etc. And if there are doubts that you really have a real relationship, then it’s nix with marriage. Even if you have this first interview: after 2 years, the Greencard has to be extended for the first time (so-called “Removal of conditions”), where it will be more detailed whether the marriage is actually real or whether it only exists on the paper.

This idea is, even if it could work according to U.S. law, quite stupid and will certainly not make you happy. By the way, the city where you can make a really big shot in the IT industry is Minsk, a little secret tip.
