Spiegellose Systemkamera (DSLM) für Planespotting unter 450€?

Hallo,

With a kit lens you can’t start much, that should be enough if you’re standing right at the airport for a plane just before you set up or take off.

Good zoom lenses are not expensive at MFT. Nevertheless, your budget is already 100-150€. Olympus M.Zuiko digital ED 40-150mm 4.0-5.6 R MSC costs new 150€ and used approx. 70-100€. The Lumix is already falling away, because it costs more than your budget without the objective, which you will get at the most needed at the price.

With the OM-D E-M10 III you will almost come down when you buy the camera without lens and then use the above. With camera and lens you will definitely come down.

For airplanes I recommend Nikon P900 with up to 2000mm focal length: https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/4732007E2060J2_-coolpix-p900-nikon.html or P950 or P1000.

With P1000 photographed with 3000mm, flew over me at travel height:

If you work at the airport, the kit objective could be enough. Flyers in the air need more focal length (from 150 to 300mm, naturally depends on the sensor size).

Your performance can only be realized with used equipment for this course.

Planespotting does not place a great requirement for the equipment. Normally there is light enough and the aircraft move relatively slowly (AF technical). This can be any camera and certainly the Olympus I don’t know myself. See if you’re clear with the operation. Technically and visually, Olympus devices are very good.

The question is less the camera than the lens. Of course, an E-M10 also reaches the Mark II was good. If you combine them with the M.Zuiko Pro 40-150 2.8 + converter, you can take super planes. Only costs The lens hold about 1000,- €. For the holiday, however, I would take a 2nd smaller lens.

With the kit objectively you can also make beautiful pictures. I had that a little bigger, not the pancake with the engine zoom, at my first Olympus. However, I have replaced it very quickly with a 30 mm focal length. I found the kit lens very folding, and it has only a 5.6 open panel at 42 mm, which is not so great together with the half format. For the first vacation, you can safely take off.

Hello

for only 450€ budget goes only used purchase and for planespots you do not need a High End Superspeed AF.

Timetable Olympus

  • O M10 II or O M5 with Zuiko ED 12-50/3.5-6.3 EZ (EZ-M1250) can be dusted together from 250-300€. The M10 II is popular/searched but the 12-50 has only a few “fans” and you can fish tw from the bay from or below 100€. The M5 I is better than the M10II but many too “old.”Unconditional optics before buying on a camera test zb the power zoom drive can be “dead”
  • Zuiko ED 75-300 mm 4.8-6.7 (EZ-M7530, Version I, Slow Autofocus and 50 grams heavier than Version II) used from 150-200€

Timetable Lumix

  • GX80 with 12-60/3.5-5.6 OIS used from 300€
  • G 100-300/4-5.6 OIS Old version used from 200€. The old version has only 120HZ data bus technology and can not be a Multi OIS, but this is not a topic for slow aircraft that the Birder (BiF) wants

Hello

I did not want to write this all again for Aviation52 and the question comes every week, the task is basically the same there are only newer camera technology and newer wish lists (touchscreen, turn flap monitor, 4K video, motif bell, phone, built-in drinking bottles,,,)

If you’re currently looking at aircraft fan forums, you’ll find relatively up-to-date aircraft reports made with Canon G3X/HS50IS, Olympus 100EE, Lumix FZ50/100/200/1000, Sony HX and RX or Fuji S/HS types, so “Alttechnik”. The US Forces/Nato also rotate that most of the time in HD and FHD (Since 2018, there are UHD Mediakits from Canon at COMCAM, but they only turn interviews/broadcast). So the new techniques aren’t going through or I’m on the move in ‘Opa media’.

With a kit lens, there can’t be anything. But Olympus has higher focal lengths for little money. I mean, for a decent tele, only 400 – 500 Euros are in the new state.

Alternative 1 inch bridge…. altogether cheaper, but not so qualitative.

Yes, the e.g. if the focal length is enough.

400-500€ is not even a tele, at least not Sony.

That’s why I’m telling Olympus. Up to 300mm – 600mm kb and the cost so much. Similar lens is also available from Panasonic.

For planespotting, you need a proper focal length.

You won’t be far with your € 450.

You’d have to put that much on the lens so you’re getting close enough.
