Guess there won’t be much. Only what the router can do (WLAN, Telefonie, etc. pp.). But pure from previous experiences with the speedports….why not just a frust box?

Speed difference … where? WLAN, network switch/ports, computing power, …, ?

Neither the Speedport Smart 3, nor the Speedport Smart 4 (Type 4 A,B) has an integrated glass fiber modem. Both use an EXTERNES modem for glass fibers.

Hello,

both routers run with an external modem.
Whatever router you use, they can both process all speeds of our fiber optic connections. :

The Smart 4 Plus and the Smart 3 can also process all our offered speeds. If this is the only reason for you to make a router bag, then it is not necessary. ^Danny
