Speedfight 2 variator incorrectly assembled?

Hi dear community, I'm having problems with my Speedy.

I have a 25 LC but according to the speedometer it always runs at around 30 to 37.

Now a week ago I thought I'd take a look at the Varionatik…out of curiosity.

Everything was taken out, cleaned and screwed back together.

When I wanted to start my scooter using the electric starter it didn't work at first and I noticed that I wasn't touching the starter, the thing that turns the vario gear.

So I put that on and closed it again and this time it started but sounded completely different than normal.

I didn't think anything of it and slowly gave it gas (while stationary) which was louder than before and there were also strange whirring noises.

I then took it for a test drive and everything was fine, but I couldn't go full throttle.

So it almost goes into idle at full throttle.

3/4 is fine and pulls normally but at full throttle it gets really loud and almost smeared

No throttles removed or anything like that, can someone please tell me what's going on?

Thank you in advance

Hello! It sounds like you made something wrong when you assemble the variomatic. If you didn’t touch the gear correctly, it can be that it is not set correctly. As a result, it can be that the transmission is not correct and therefore the motor does not run properly in full gas. It can also be that you forgot a part during assembly of variomatics, e.g. a seal or a rubber part. Therefore, try to check the variomatics again and ensure that everything is properly assembled. If you are not sure, you can also contact a professional who can help you.
