Sparring with very large opponents?

I have a question. I spar at my boxing club, and when I do, I can only spar with much older, larger, and heavier opponents because there are no others. I'm talking about a really big size difference. I can't say exactly how much, but it's probably 10-15 cm.

Recently, I was training with a sparring partner who's had maybe 6-8 months of training. I know he's old and big, but I have to admit, I've been hit a lot. What counters or techniques can I use to land a hit when I'm not at close range? When I'm at long range, I get blocked with jabs and right punches. I often dodge, but countering feels impossible, and sometimes, when I'm at close range, he just pushes me away. What can I do?

As a smaller boxer, you can score in the ring mainly with mobility and stamina.

Of course, your opponent has the bigger leap, but you have to find next to a few shots and provocations exactly the short weak point in his defense and defense, where you can go as a “small” short and sharp in with a few small blows to short series, to immediately switch out of direct contact to distance.

All you have to do is prepare yourself in the ring by executing the speed and reactions of your Sparring partner.
