Sparkasse ATM swallowed my money?
I was recently depositing money at an ATM, and when I put the money in, a strange noise came from it and my money was swallowed. Then it suddenly said "out of order," but my money was gone. I asked an employee, and he said a team would come and fix it, and then I'd get my money back. I was at the same bank recently and saw that the ATM was working again, but I didn't have my money.
Has anyone ever had a similar problem?
This bank obviously does not care for its machines. This makes a value service provider, a common practice today for many banks and savings banks. The “Team” of the service provider has now eliminated the malfunction and put the system back into operation. The assignment of the last deposit in the route must still take place. It is normal that the whole process takes a few days. The indignation expressed here by others is only evidence of the unexisting knowledge of the processes.
How do you know that?
I’ve got work to do with these devices.
I see
the money falls into a “Reject-Fach” – the assignment is evident from the booking journal – the processing usually takes a few days – the additional reporting at the bank is recommended
quite honestly, I would have been standing on the mat in the morning on the next day of the bank work and would have had the staff as long as I get a reasonable answer
If you broke the machine, you might have to ask what was going on.
You can only make banknotes, no coins, no paper clips or other stuff. And the bills must not be rolled together or completely messed up.
If you don’t know, you should turn to the staff during the opening hours and let you see how it works.
I really only put notes and made them even extra still well smooth
Then you’d better get to the bank what’s happening at the vending machine and they’ll know what’s going on.
No, I’ll never pay cash and not at all at the machine.
It would have been helpful to contact the bank in writing. If the machine is “caputt” it may be that the personal data has not been collected. Then the bank has money and doesn’t know who. Maybe they’ll just do it in the coffee box.
Turn to the bank, there must be a difference in the machine that is to be assigned.
Inquiry from the bank – there should be a money amount that is not to be allocated
In such a case, I would report to the bank immediately.
