Spanish test?
Hey, I'm taking a Spanish test in two days and I'm really bad at Spanish. I've always wanted to know how to conjugate a verb in a sentence, like "Comer." I never know whether I should conjugate it with "yo," "tu," "nosotros," etc. I'll show what I should do in the appendix (preterito indefinido, etc.).
Maybe someone could explain it to me so that I can understand it, even though I don't speak Spanish. For example, I want to conjugate comer in the preterito indefinido, but which ending should I use? Yo tu…? Vosotros? And how do I find that out?
Here are some example sentences so that you can perhaps explain it to me:
Yo bailar en la fiesta de esta noche
Here I know how to conjugate it because it says "Yo" and it is therefore clear, but the sentence would now look like this ⬇️
Ana bailar en la fieste da esta noche
I have no idea how to conjugate it now
can someone please help?
I had my difficulties with that too. Always make sure that the connection points to plural(multiple persons etc) or singular(one person etc). If now a namer comes : Ana, then this person is alone and in the singular.
You would appeal to Ana with “they” so you also use the 3,person of the singular.
Ana baila en la fiesta de este noche.
In the past, it is the same: finding out who does exactly something.
The “Machen” is your verb (transverse language:Tunwort) which must be assigned to people or living entities.
Let’s take your friend to speak to you in Spanish. Then you have to answer in the 1.Person Singular.
Your friend: ¿Tienes hambre ?
You: Si, tengo hambre.
So with groups: Have you been to the cinema yesterday?
-> yes were WIR(1.person plural ) or you were not there : Yes they were (3.person plural)
This helps much more thanks!
I know the struggle after 3 years Spanish….
regardless of what comes, this is conjugating as with us. For example, you called comer/essen. Then you would also conjugate in German with me,du,er/she/it, we.her her – so – I eat, you eat he/she/it, we eat, eat her, eat her. And so you do it in Spanish in the present.
yo(ich) como, tu(du)comes,él come etc…….
In the past form – indefinido – do it accordingly – only with the past form of verb – i.e. yo comi, tu comiste ….
However, you have to learn these different forms of time – intus – which does not always go easily into one in irregular verbs.
