Social media?

Don't you also find it sad that you can literally study a person based on their social media footprints. You can manipulate that person bit by bit, so that if everything works out, they'll ultimately become your puppet?

Why would I find it sad? I don’t think the possibility alone is sad that it is actively done by companies, states and individuals, that I find sad.

In rare cases, this is even good.

Otherwise we have the real world.

You don’t have to share everything in the wide web. 😉

You don’t have to share everything in the wide web.

I never said this is easy. Social Profiling and OSINT(Leaks included in the DarkNet) are difficult and especially long topics. Such analyses duration hours or days1. And don’t blame me now, but I’m not gonna sit down hours to walk you. It’s just not worth it.

1: For Google or others who already have this data, it is of course easier.

Jup. I know. Then you only know my place of residence on the basis of this. I’m curious what you know about me. 😉 My name and my nickname would like to know now. 🍀

The same applies, of course, if you use Google (Alternative: Startpage, DuckDuckGo, SearXG) as a search engine or use a GMAIL, Outlook or hotmail(Alternative: Tuta/Tutanota, Proton) account as a main account. Or even if you use Google Drive or OneDrive (Alternative: Proton Drive, own NAS). And so on.

With your answers and your user behavior and name you can already analyze a lot. In addition, good question is now not a nice platform what data protection or Privacy. So if you look at all the Vendors to other goodQuality your data is passed on, you will realize that almost everything here is somehow completely public.

It’s not sad. Everyone is responsible for what he does on the Internet. I even think it’s good that you can track it so closely
