SOS: Dwarf gourami sucked by hose, injury?

I changed the water in my aquarium today. Normally, the fish always stay away from the hose, but my male ZFF swam too close and got sucked in. He wriggled and was able to free himself immediately, but he has a brown ring where the hose was, and he sat there for five minutes without moving. Now he's swimming around a bit again. How dangerous is this for him, and is there anything I can do for him?

Here is another picture, I hope it works:

If there is really only a brown spot, I would say that is only the reaction of the sheds to the quite high suction force for a fish. As long as there is no open injury, I don't think there is any reason to worry. The one that doesn't move is a reaction to the horror.

Don't panic. He recovers after a while

Hello,

You probably hurt his mucous membrane, but you should regenerate yourself with good water hygiene!

Put a suction basket on the hose next time!
