Since the smart home devices, even if they are Alexa compatible, still need a separate app where you usually have to register, it is more sensible and clear for yourself to limit yourself to as few providers as possible. But Alexa himself doesn’t care how many apps she interacts.

It would be best to stay with the same system. there are also some systems that function across the brand.

In particular, if you have many lamps, you should not take lamps that work with WiFi, but take a bridge-based system like Hue, as it is better for grid security and many devices in Wi-Fi greatly slow down the Nezwerk!
