Should you eat raw meat, organs, blood?
I've heard a lot lately that there's nothing healthier than eating high-quality raw meat, raw liver, or raw eggs and raw milk.
Because it is not cooked, the nutrients are supposedly more present and the body can process it better.
At the moment that would be too extreme for me and I am happy with my boiled and roasted meat but do you think there is something to it?
From an evolutionary perspective, this is supposed to be a good thing. Nowadays, people eat all that processed junk, and they look accordingly.
No, cooking makes food not only edible and germ-free, but also easier digestible.
Of course, if you do not interfere with the possible pathogens, parasites, bacteria, salmonella and the like, you can do that.
In fact, however, no nutrients are lost by cooking.
The nutrients are more accessible to cook.
Enjoying that raw is more of an obsess and enjoying the fall
Food is not medicine. But I like to eat Carpaccio, Tartar, Mettbrötchen. No problem. Internals like liver and kidneys, heart, I also like to eat raw.
I don’t know. But that’s a Tatar.
Shall we? No.
