If there was anything with acid, you should definitely wait. In food without acid, I don’t know.

If you have eaten nothing acidic, you can brush your teeth directly after that, otherwise you should wait a little (a half hour usually suffices).

If you are unsure if acids were there (Marmelade, for example, does not taste sour, but it is always), then wait half an hour in doubt.
