Hi! This is often not a question of “sollen” but when the 27th year of life is reached, this is forced to be changed by most banks. In between, it depends on the scheme in the bank.

The youth account is usually free, but only as long as you are still in training. Some banks can prove this regularly. Earning money also follows the transition to a paid model, which is also correct.

This depends on the bank, the conditions for the youth account and the specific conditions.

If, for example, the youth account is only offered for young people under the age of 18, one remains after the age of 18. Birthday no other way than to change. If the youth account is also offered for students, trainees or students over 18, it looks different.
