Yeah, don’t raise. It’s supposed to be a basic security. You shall not land on the street and not starve. With €500 you will be very good over the month. Even with (small) freedoms inside. If someone wants to participate more in public life, he must (again) look for a job.

Everyone has to work for his life. You don’t have to do it because it’s great, but because you’re hungry.

Citizens’ money is based on the minimum need and if you live as an austerity you can go to the cinema once and there is every free he works and deserves more

Mohnblume611

No. No way. As long as bicycles, TV, rent etc are paid, you can get great with 500 euros. I myself had much less at the beginning of my career. You have a year to look for a job. Those who don’t mind, that’s okay. But I think there’s enough to do that, but they can’t. I’d like to get my train ticket, a new bike or a new TV. And make sure you finance everything! Are you so generous in real life?

If you raise citizens’ money, public debt increases inflation, prices rise and the country becomes even more attractive for immigration into the social system. As a result, more money has to be spent. And as a result of rising inflation, you will have to increase citizens’ money again and so it continues. A vicious circle that must finally be broken. The belt must be tightened.

Citizens’ money does not mean that unemployed people can make big jumps, but to cover their basic needs until they find work again.

I would like to point out that not only workable citizens receive money. Also the dear grandma who has worked for a lifetime and can not even afford the nursing home, gets what. So please be careful with such statements.

But then the pension system is guilty.

Go ahead. Merkel has not re-entered all of Germany with his official entry.

Yes, Merkel’s got it all.

No, that was so before the traffic lights that wages are too low and taxes are too high. You have to go back a lot further in history.

KarsonSmiddi

In short, the traffic light government is guilty.

DieBentoBox

But there’s nothing for Grandma’s money. And those who are incapable of work and in early retirement are not. The gains also receive increased performance. Guilt that so many people abuse the system is mainly the high taxes. Companies have to get their taxes in some way, so they pay the lowest possible wages, or they are moving abroad. If wages have to be increased – what they should be, because work has to have a good value – then it doesn’t matter if the company goes broke. If the government did not drive such massive taxes, some companies could pay fair wages and would thus create a significant difference to the public money. What more people would work with, more would be exported and manufactured, etc.

get others a day.

No, they don’t, they deserve.

The state cannot subsidize luxury life with the citizen’s money, but only the minimum of existence.

What a nonsense…

Citizens’ allowance is paid in addition to various other benefits (e.g. rent). When you count all this together, that’s what someone gets who works for the minimum wage. Is already unfair enough for people who work sometimes 40h/week and have almost equal money in their pockets.
who wants more can go to work…

Have you also included in your 20€/day bill that this roughly 500€ also includes rent and heating and electricity? And various things you can apply for from time to time? Probably not.

That’s right. Pervers is also that we work on our pension. The Ombudsman doesn’t need that. He’ll get it.

Of course, the whole is not supposed to develop into a debate on civil money. Most of the people who get this have come into this situation unindebtedly and it is good that they are supported. That some people use this system is stupid, but unfortunately not to change – was probably already clear to everyone before.

I am only concerned with the level of the rule set, which must be financed by the people who work at the end. They end up losing wealth.

Mohnblume611

I see you. I’m with you. However, I also know, as a friend of mine works, what is being financed and that hardly regulations take place. There were some changes. That is why I see that there is no increase in order to bring those who do not want to work. It should be as unattractive as possible. I’m afraid it’s not. And honestly, how are all loss of prosperity? You rent increases and increase food costs etc.

That makes it very clear. There are other services. Housing costs, sickness insurance.

A single person receives a standard rate of 563 euros in 2024, a couple in a demand group gets 1012 euros. The standard rate includes the cost of daily life needs, especially for food, clothing, household and electricity. So enough.

500 € per day where do you live? xD you can’t take any more seriously…. They have more than 500€, they don’t have to pay anything, there are so many help in Germany. We live here like the kings…. dafuck and you still want more…. So sad the world, be glad you have never starved or live on the street

uhyrius

Yes, with civil money, participation in public life is impossible. Every event costs, you can’t go to the restaurant for free, cinemas, museums… everything costs. The famine recipient remains only a life behind the slot or the internet.

Should citizens’ money be better removed for glott and Internet? To increase the incentive to go to work?

There is probably free access to museums. With us always Fridays. There’s no way to go to the restaurant looking at his money and I’d like to pay someone to visit his restaurant. How many times do you invite strange people? That’s luxury! I’ve always seen that. You can drive out sports, meet, determine animals and planks, make cycling. For example, in the cinema, I was not even forever. Just because I don’t care. And yes, for other activities you have to move the Po!

Rubezahl2000

Why?
I go to work every day, and with taxes from my very good salary, I’m going through some citizens’ money recipients.
