You can also go to a driving school and just take 1-2 driving hours. Mostly it is so that once you have been sitting on such a thing and driving a few meters the fear is immediately vanished and you are annoyed why you haven’t done it years ago. Because scootering is really easy.
Alternatively, you can also think about an S-Pedelec. They are just as fast as a 50ccm scooter and you also do something for the fitness.
So you don’t have to be afraid of a scooter.
Maybe practice a little bit on less busy ways and then it fits.
