The mouthwater is so formulated that it “places” a kind of protective layer over the teeth. If you rinse your mouth right after that, you wash off this protective layer again.

No, not right now. You’d reduce the effectiveness.
After brushing and/or using mouth water, you should not eat or drink or rinse for 1 hour.
