Soll ich ihr das Ohr irgendwie trocknen?
Guten Abend,
mein Kaninchen hat sich vor wenigen Minuten aus lauter Freude und Energie auf den Boden geschmissen und wie wild herumgerollt. Leider ist sie dabei so doof mit dem Ohr in die Wasserschüssel gekommen, dass sie von dort Wasser quasi mit ihrem Ohr wie mit einem Löffel Wasser in ihr Ohr katapultiert hat. Danach ist so sofort erschrocken aufgesprungen und hat sich wie eine wilde geschüttelt. Die Ohren habe ich ihr von außen wieder getrocknet, mit einem Tuch. Jetzt weiß ich nur nicht, ob ich da innen auch irgendwas trocknen soll oder ob das von alleine passiert. Ich will ja nicht, dass sie ine Ohrenentzündung bekommt.

You absolutely don’t have to worry about it. The water in the ear of your rabbit is probably already dried again and it will not get ear infection. It would be more counterproductive and stressful for your rabbit if you would have the ear inside with a cloth or so dry.

I wouldn’t recommend it. You could hurt your rabbit or hurt the drums in the worst case.

Okay, so that shaking of her has been enough? It is now completely relaxed, just far away from the water bowl 😅
I don’t want to lose her, so I’m gonna get some advice. Thank you for your answer.
She’s in warmth. By shaking, the most likely to be out, the rest dries by themselves.
