Should I change jobs?
Hello Community,
I am faced with a really important decision:
I received a job offer after my interview—where I'm currently employed at a company—where I've been working for 13 months, where I spend about 40% of my time traveling from customer to customer and performing various IT tasks…
I like working on-site at the customer's location MUCH better than working directly at headquarters… and I've always wanted to have appointments – ideally only on-site….
If I were to accept the job offer, I would earn about €2,000 more per year (net) – which would certainly be quite a lot…
The job description also sounds promising -> according to the new company, they absolutely want me… -> although there would then be no more external appointments to be made…
I'm now faced with a choice between taking the risk (taking the job/earning more &, according to the statement, also getting further training funded) and keeping my current job & hoping for more on-site appointments (I have an employee interview coming up soon, where I'll also address the topic of salary) – however, this has nothing to do with my possible upcoming job change…
The employment contract should be sent to me this week—I won't sign it yet. I hope the interview will take place within a week, as that will hopefully make the decision easier for me….
Trying to knock, you can also change this job.
Do what you like.
When I read this Tetx, I read more positive things for job change than negative.
Orort customer activities I like VIEL better than working directly in the center…. I would also have liked to have appointments at the very best only on site….
Well. Whether it’s worth the €2000 a year to go after a job that doesn’t make fun or does not even include what you like (from the customer) is questionable.
Money is not everything. And it brings you a little bit if you have more on the account, but every day you torture yourself for 8 hours.
