Should I do this? Job?
I have a full-time job that I don't want to quit.
But at the same time I would like to get out and meet people more, see more of the world and that's when I came up with the idea of working in security, for example when you're assigned to events, concerts, parties etc. you get to see a lot in life in the long run.
What do you think? Good idea?
Does anyone have experience in this area?
Bad idea.
If you’re used as such at the events, you don’t see much of the event
If I get it right, you want to do it next to your full-time job.
You must be aware that this can be very burdensome due to the arbetic times in the nebejob.
In addition, you have contact with people, but often in the negative sense. In the case of the admission controls, energized customers who have been in the snake for a long time and to whom you have to explain why they must not take certain things with me, remove rioting or otherwise negatively striking (e.g. very drunk) persons, etc., you will not have real contact with the guests there. So yes, you experience a lot, but rather the negative sides of people.
Neighbors of me have done this and thought that if they had a “sensual” training (one had one in the security area, the other one) and not depend on the job with the good supplements for night shifts plus weekends and security hits, they would have stopped long ago. Because they were crying in other relief jobs they would get significantly less. Both have also had slight injuries in the job, as well as colleagues have seen the worse. Luckily, this doesn’t happen often, but if, it often ends bad.
I would advise you to another side job and then travel with the money or visit this event as a guest. You see much more of the world and experience more postive pages of it.
