Should I reply to the email?

Hello, I received an email today from a company where I applied for an apprenticeship, in which I've been given an appointment for an interview. Should I reply to the email, or is that not necessary?

Dear … ,

I thank you for the invitation to the interview and confirm the appointment on Monday at 3 p.m.

Best regards,

And would that be a good answer?

Dear…

Thank you for the invitation to the interview. I’ll confirm your appointment on Monday, the xx.xxxxxx, at 3:00.

Best regards

Please don’t start with “I”. And confirm the date again. No comma after “With kind regards”.

You don’t have to do anything. It would be smart to call there and tell you that you got the email and are happy to meet you.
Costs nix and tells you’re really after.

You should answer and say you’re taking the appointment. Otherwise, you leave those in the unclear what can mean for them that you are no longer interested
