Data recovery software – which one is free?
Hey 🙂 I had a few videos (only a few MB in total) on a USB stick. My laptop told me the stick was faulty and needed to be repaired, but after that, the videos were deleted from the stick.
I've tried 5-6 data recovery programs, and I always end up with the same one: It costs money, and not a little. I can't spend 50 euros or more on a subscription just to recover 4-5 videos.
Disk Drill worked reliably for me, but I used it months ago and the program remembers that and my free storage space is used up, so that doesn't work either.
Recuva is also recommended to me repeatedly, but the software doesn't even find the deleted videos from the flash drive. And, as I said, all other programs require a fee.
Does anyone know how I can get my few videos? 🙁
Calls for backup and is applied BEVOR will result in a loss.
If the data is not secured, they may not have been important.
I don’t expect that the laptop suggests to repair the USB stick while automatically erasing data from it. But thank you for this unhelpful answer.
Europe’s largest computer newspaper, current issue, create an emergency stick with rescue tools.
I will create a current backup of my emails today.
That’s nice you’re doing this today. The answer doesn’t help me.
Complete nonsense. This computer magazine has, of course, strict secret knowledge of what no one else knows. (Sarkasmus end)
Whether I’m loading Recuva at CT or somewhere else is really sausage!
Some full versions, partly limited to 12 months.
that has nothing to do with the problem of the author
