Soft tone alternative?

Hello, I modeled something with soft clay, but now I realize that it is too heavy and will break because of it. It is not 100% solid either.

Does anyone know of an alternative that's lighter and really hardens? Or is Fimo lighter than clay?

Fimo is getting pretty hard by burning. But it's not unclear either.

In the last two-three weeks I have tried out some modeling masses; However, those that can be made at home, like cold porcelain… I tried out four recipes and stayed on one so far.

This is not torn during drying and even something filigree has not been broken until now, although our cats have thrown it down four times (no matter where I laid it, it is wrong).

That would be the recipe I've been working with since then:

110 g rice flour
110g wood glue (is best, PVA glue also works)
5g liquid soap (or shower gel)
1-2 teaspoons of hand cream (eg Nivea)
if applicable. 1 teaspoon of glycerol when you have it at home but goes well without

The dough is similar to soft knead or soft salt dough, but you can work really well with it. After kneading, I always pack it in transparent film and in addition again in a fresh hold bag so that little air is added. Disadvantage: if the mass is outside, the surface dries very quickly, but is soft again with a little hand cream.

Was really surprised that you can work so well with it. Even with thicker things, it doesn't tear when drying…
