Smartphone überhitzt ohne Grund?
Hallo!
Mein bald in Rente gehendes XS Max hat seit ein paar Wochen angefangen bei wirklich normaler Nutzung vollkommen zu überhitzen.
Mit normaler Nutzung meine ich: weder Hotspot, noch GPS, noch 5G sondern nur WLAN.
Da reicht das bisschen Safari nutzen und die hintere Seite kann ich zum Omelett machen nutzen.
Klar das Gerät ist “alt” und das neue OS ist ein wenig zerrend, habe aber iOS 17 schon länger drauf und es hat geklappt.
Würde das Smartphone gerne noch bis zur Veröffentlichung vom 16ner nutzen, aber wenn es schon jetzt so am überhitzen ist will ich mir gar nicht vorstellen wie das im Hochsommer abgehen wird….
Ist es einfach dem Alter geschuldet? Falls ja, gibt es da irgendwelche Kniffe um die Zeit bis zum Dezember zu überbrücken? Will das Handy einfach nur in der Hand halten können beim scrollen ohne Verbrennungen😂

I have an XS (without Max) and had the same problem. Then I changed the battery, since that’s quiet. It’s all very fluffy.
Did you have your battery replaced with Apple or any cell phone repair shop?

Hmm… that makes a bad replacement battery relatively unlikely.
Of course not – there is always a reason.
At best, the Big Bang came up with some theories for no reason. 😉
Everything else always has a reason. The question is more of what the reason is.
Go to a technician and check the battery.
Old device => age battery => Deutet to defect.
Wass connected to load? If so, the reason
Ne. Not connected but used on the couch without direct sunlight
Hm, evt also ran a download or installation process in the background. Otherwise the device restarts clean and if this continues to occur your battery is broken

Hmm. I left last November and the capacity is still okay.
However, since then, overheat really weekly by 2%
