Hello,
The 2.0 TDI with 125 kW in the RS would already have to be the common rail diesel Euro 5 (from 05/2008) (engine code CEGA – stands on the first page service booklet). I would have less with the engine than with the DSG abdominal pain.
See if the oil changes were made regularly at the DSG (all 60,000 km). If I didn’t, I’d leave my car. The DSG must switch clean and fast. A small starting jolt or a very light (!) jolt during the switching process from 3. into the 2nd and 2nd in the 1st. Gear when braking is normal, is not a converter automatic.
Check if the engine starts clean, especially when it is cold. Pay attention to the oil level, which must not be above the maximum. Running noises see if something has failed. Air conditioning to test function, on LO or I have to get out of ice-cold or low-breast air. Steering wheel must be upright and the car must remain in the lane when it is fully braked. All window lifters, the mirrors and if present check the sliding roof. Check the coolant level. And the test drive long enough to make the gear oil warm as well.
You can buy an Octavia with 200 Tkm if the service records are all available.
Thank you for your detailed answer! So you’re worried about the gear? Then I will pay attention to
Here you go. At our 2009 service pass, the DSG was finished after a good 270,000 km, and not the engine. It’s been more and more clear. However, this was fixed with the replacement of the clutch set, only that goes into the money.
In terms of engine, only the 2.0 TDI pump nozzle makes problems with the oil pump drive in the compensating shaft module. The Octavia RS will no longer have it from 05/2008.
Hello wanted to report to you again… So after a few months with the RS in use I am really happy.. He jumps on IMMER well, even if it’s cold. The DSG switches clean with a little back from 1st to 2nd to 3… but a DSG oil change is only in approx. 30 000 km again. I’ll let you do one in 8 – 10k km. Chassis is quite hard, but with the deep bull, I think it’s normal for the 19 inches 😀 .. I hear from time to time the turbocharger accelerates quite clearly? Can that be with him? 😀 Not that I don’t think it’s good, but is it really or is there anything else behind it? I don’t know… but he’s running. Thanks again for the tips then before buying.
Love
It has a PD engine (pump nozzle) If you get the chassis number, you can print out the life cycle / maintenance intervals / repairs at each VAG dealer. If he was waiting for a VAG dealer
Buy him, he’s good.
What’s he gonna cost?
6290
It’s a lot for age. I’d rather have guessed 5,000-5500€.
This is a representative car and it will probably have seen a lot of motorway in the 11 years. There’s nothing you can say about the track profile.
If you’re lucky, he’ll be in repairs without a cent. If you’re in bad luck, 5 mills won’t be enough for the next 20,000 km.
5000€ would be good for the car if it had a good and comprehensible history.
sry for not helpful has clicked me
very good
Hey wanted to report me again.
After a few months, I couldn’t see any problems. He runs and runs. To date, only take out money for rims and spend oil change 😀
