Hi.

Wheelies are generally not prohibitions, because a wheel must be decelerated and that is it in wheelie (back wheel brake). However, it can be evaluated as a hazard to road traffic, as the braking path is extended and one cannot control the motorcycle.

That’s why: Wheelie on land roads or remote roads where no car or pedestrian is. In the city, on the highway, pedestrian zone etc. it is endangering road traffic.

It is not a dangerous intervention in road traffic but a danger to traffic, because at the moment when the front wheel is in the air, the construction council is no longer guaranteed conditional steering and braking capability of the vehicle.

Aside from road traffic, nothing is to be said about it and is also generally enriched on public areas, where foreign vessels can be excluded.

This is very important where this wheely is taking place.

On the highway, he is forbidden. Not in your own backyard.

You can’t make any escape maneuver with full braking during the wheelies. But you have to always if you’re in public transport.

For this reason, free-handed driving is not StVO-compliant.
