Well…. that may sound stupid now, but as long as the mechanic has done something suitable fat in the lining (what you do alone to simplify the installation) he can do nothing else about it.

Of course, it would go to take a file and pull the edge of the brake pad a little bit, but well, you can’t just swoop around on checked and approved original parts…..

Little tip…. a week long drive so 200 to 500km and then it should be gone.

Presumably cheap parts are installed,, chasing the blocks could help, but usually only for a short time

No.

Installation errors or inferior material.

This is an interesting statement…. I quote the “Dozenten” at the Chamber of Crafts where I was for the master title.

“If the quilt helps idr. just break off the edge of the brake pad…. but you can’t just fly around like that on the lining a lot of fun with the customers”

so it is.

when my motorcycle had still drum brakes, that was the order of the day.

and, in addition, we (duplex) have also shortened the running baking to a bit, so that in dryness it brakes to a greater extent.
we then put ourselves on the flap when wet.

whether that’s interested in the TÜV, sorry, that was us at the time…

In a duplex brake there are only running jaws, no running out.
