Oats are considered one of the healthiest local cereals. They score with a large amount of fiber, protein, vitamins K, B1 and B6, with important minerals such as copper, zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and potassium.. They do the skin well and the intestine.

For this I found in our teaching kitchen of the UNI:

Oat flakes can be even more: oats contain a high proportion of soluble beta-glucan fiber, which can lower the cholesterol level. To do this, you have to take three grams of beta-glucan every day – and these are, for example, in 40 grams of oat glue or in 70 grams of oatmeal. A study by the University Hospital of Sant’Orsola-Malpighi in Bologna has shown that the cholesterol level of the test persons who took three grams of beta-glucan daily had a roughly 15 percent lower LDL value after eight weeks. The LDL cholesterol is the “bad” and health-prone cholesterol that can be deposited as a plaque on the blood vessels.

Kcal is an energy unit and there is absolutely nothing unhealthy about it.

Yes oatmeal are basically very healthy.

Oat flakes are very healthy.

Just because some calories does not mean it is unhealthy

A means that the product within comparable products is one of the better…

And otherwise, calories say nothing about health:

Cereal products of all kinds have 300-400kcal/100g in dry state.
Oats is therefore not better with regard to calories and not worse than other cereals and products and an important energy supplier and also has some important nutrients.

Therefore, yes, oats is healthy and 100g – swollen with liquid is a giant mountain, there you are pappsatt – usually you are less for breakfast.

If they are not extreme in the food chain – yes. Jesus went with his disciples through the fields and they ate grain.

And what’s the problem?

Calories = Nutritional value = Energy content of food

So with the pleasure of this food you get healthy energy .

Yes, they are. 100G are also very much. And fats are also important and healthy and have even more calories. Calories do not even say whether healthy or not

Oat flakes have many micronutrients and normally no 100g is stuffed in.
