Is a question of perspective. With a wide-angle lens, you could put yourself a rat so that it looks as big as the wild boar on the photo.
The hunter on the right picture stands only minimally away from the pig, so either it is real or not, but by a change of perspective you cannot let this wild boar grow so unproportionally.

These are not wild boars but American razorbacks. They have developed from wild boars and later paired with imported real wild boars. This terrifying mixture was produced from this. Razorbacks are much bigger and more dangerous than our wild boars. Especially the wedges become true giants.
In itself, that would be the most enlightening answer, but Wikipedia says that Razorbacks are long, thin, high in the shoulder and low in the hull.
