As already mentioned, DSLRs are not ideal for filming, especially since the models mentioned can only FHD.

I would rather take a mirrorless model like the Sony Alpha 6400 or the ZV E10.

Both cameras are impossibly unsuitable for filming, the 2000D has not even autofocus on filming. And the 700D has a pretty sluggish contrast-AF.

Better choice would be the EOS 70D, Canon’s first camera with Dualpixel-AF, with which you can focus reasonably.

If then the 700D, the 2000D and 4000D are the cheapest starter models… DSLRs are generally not ideal for filming because they have a mirror that is completely unfolded during filming – this is not the purpose of such a camera and often have the immense power consumption. But it does.

However, I have no idea about such older DSLRs, because the others can certainly help more.

My best recommendation would be Sony A6300. Microphone input, 4K (good for subsequent cropping or scaling down to HD, much sharper than any pure HD camera) and many top functions. Costs well 300€ without lenses and then for lenses 300-500€

What lenses do you have?

But stop with kit objective. This is about how you screw on a Bugatti Bobbycar tires

As a maximally compact lens for the daytime, the thing is quite useful. If you have to hide, at about f/8 the sharpness is not so bad. Low-Light or Bokeh can you forget that you need f/2.8 or better 1.8 or 1.4

Panasonic, now Canon?

Let us first clarify the requirements:

What do you want to photograph / film?

The body is only approx. 10% to 30% of the cost, depending on which lenses you still need.

How high is your budget anyway?

What else do you need for your rig? External micro is clear, but large monitor, possibly. Steadycam mount?

I only see 2 options on the budget:
(a) You stay with the G2 and buy required lenses. A tripod and Rig frame. Then you will stay on the (old) 720p standard.

b) Mobile phone + gimbal.

I would not recommend a DSLR like the entry models of Canon for several reasons: 1. No money for good lenses 2. Power consumption – without Ersazakkus you are not far.

Are good cameras. Even though they are not the latest models
