Are Aprilia bikes a rarity on the streets?
I've recently started riding a Tuono, and I have to say that I hardly ever see an Aprilia on the streets. Are Aprilia motorcycles really that rare? I almost only see KTMs, or Yamahas, or Hondas, but I've never seen an Aprilia before.
And what do you think of Aprilia riders? :D? You always get an impression of a person depending on what motorcycle they ride. What image do you have of Aprilia bikers?
And what do you think of Aprilia motorcycles in general? Are they reliable, popular, etc.? Are they perhaps special in some way?
Is a brand with relatively little market share. That’s why they look rarer. But now there is nothing super extraordinary like an MV Agusta.
Actually, I don’t. It turned out that the brand is very little about the driver. Since then the exact model, even though this does not really allow conclusions.
Having never possessed one, therefore, can only say what I have received in the environment. what is generally seen in the data sheet. From the price design, the bikes are arranged quite far above, at least as new machines. Similar to other Italian manufacturers (Ducati, MV Augusta etc.) You read about the quality from horror reports, where there are no spare parts for ever, to people who never have any problems pretty much everything.
Some models I like with the brand, others don’t talk to me like that. From the cult and image factor, Ducati as a comparable brand is more in my favor. But this is a matter of taste. But in general, these are very nice bikes with a sporty image.
If you look at the number of admissions in this way, they are not bought as often. But this is only indirectly a grad meter for popularity. Ferraris are also sold little, are still popular.
With more sporty riders, the brand certainly has a quite high reputation. You have now also concentrated your portfolio very much. But at least from my point of view and my acquaintance, it is not as popular in the width as many other manufacturers.
On the one hand, this is certainly due to the model range, on the other hand to the lack of marketing. Since others simply invest significantly more. Other brands attach more to your history or talk to a wider audience. New machines are relatively expensive, but the image does not fit as much as part of the Piaggio group and with the model range, where you can sell 125 beginners bikes. The problem should be that you do not build a conclusive brand image about marketing. But they are not unpopular or unpopular. If you are machines for people who know exactly what they want and if you belong to it, then they are already very respected bikes.
No, not really. They are only not the right one for everyone and with the current portfolio stand for many uninteresting. You don’t have anything to offer now, which isn’t in any other way. Your advantage is perhaps still design and something italoflair. Many simply do not want a Japanese, BMW or KTM, but rather something more unusual. That’s what the brand is doing.
I drove several Aprilias years ago. Yes, you don’t see them as often as BMWs or bikes of Japanese manufacturers. Looking at the sales figures, you know why. Aprilia has a very bad dealer network and marketing has not been active for a long time. In addition, the low value stability is added, since new vehicles are already widely scraped under UVP. The spare parts supply is quite bad. You’ve been waiting for some months. In the summer, the holidays in Italy do nothing.
Aprilia drivers are just like the drivers of other machines. Many forgive the vehicles their weaknesses and deficiencies and often speak of exotic status or “emozione”.
The model range of Aprilia is slowly increasing and popularity increases thanks to Aleix Espargaro.
I myself would not buy a Aprilia at the moment, due to the unreliability of my Aprilia and the bad dealer network including bad workshops.
so I haven’t. I make maximum difference between chopper drivers, cross drivers and the rest – because the other mentality on the bike has.
whether this is ne aprilia or ne yamaha…. absolutely no matter.
Aprilia bikes are great, no question.
But for my budget too expensive. ECT
Since the “problem” is widespread, they are on the streets. 😂
