Simson S51 Kolben Toleranz?
Danke!
Lt. the original repair manual book for the S51 stands on pages 48-49 (Chapter 6.2.8 / 6.2.9):
The installation game for your engine must be 0.03mm. So if you have a piston with 37.96, the cylinder should have 0.03mm more. I understand the manual so that it at least: 0.03mm. At 0.04mm so still ok. Because the wear limit is lt. Manual for piston only at 0.1mm. If you measure the new piston with a diameter of 37.96 (measurement point 10mm from the bottom of the piston), it may also be 37.86mm. So you should be okay.
By the way, a wear value of up to 0.1 mm is also ok in the cylinder. Only then should be followed by the next grinding measure. With suitable piston is understood.
